Ameranouche web site

Richard "Shepp" Sheppard and Jack Soref's guitars backed by Michael K. Harrist on bass - he uses the bow a lot! Intense, driving rhythms, great melodies, and incredible musicianship.  Ameranouche presents an evening of first rate "Gypsy Flamenco Swing" which takes off periodically on trips to the middle east, flamenco country, and even a little disco soul. You won't be bored!

Pronounced uh-Mare-uh-noosh, the name is derived from two words: American and Manouche, the gypsy tribe of guitarist Django Reinhardt.

Jason Roach is perhaps best known as the thunderous keyboard guy with Coig, but he's an outstanding visual artist too. Have a look at Outer Strathspace Folk Art for an otherworldly mix of bird-sea-music something. I like it so much I even overlook someone's penchant for referring to various bird species as "seagull."
