and friend. I met Hawk on either the Maine Birds Facebook page or the Facebook Bird Misidentification page - we hang out on both. So glad he was able to perform at Crow Town Gallery and hope to bring him back to Lubec somehow.

Hawk's web site is a beautiful and informative work in itself. I visit whenever I find my mind or my heart bogging down, going in circles, spinning wheels, or just to get my bearings. I've started editing a video - it's hard to decide which one - to give you a taste of Hawk's music.

Have a look at Outer Strathspace Folk Art for an otherworldly mix of bird-sea-music something. I like it so much I even overlook someone's penchant for referring to various bird species as "seagull."
